BOOK REVIEW

Lastest reviews

The Melting Man is a short horror suspense story from screenwriter and filmmaker Stephen Wise, and it is brilliant...this story will give you the heebie jeebies. It is written in a noir style appropriate for a great Twilight Zone episode. It is a fun story that will take less than an hour to read and there is never a dull moment.

From poetic to hypnotic, Stephen Wise has crafted short stories that will stay with you long after they are over. His writing takes your mind in one direction, and then turns it on it's head as the story veers into an unexpected twist. A wonderful read and hard to put down.

I absolutely adore this book. Set of short stories, rather. I really enjoyed the author's transition between genres, and the different formats of creation he used. There were stories in this book that gave me spine tingling chills and paranoia, as well as happy & sad tears.
